Very Good Condition, some edge and shelf wear, some rubbing and bumping to edges and corners, no inscriptions, dustjacket shows a little edge and shelf wear with  a little rubbing, bumping and grubbiness (see photographs)

“This very rare Atlas was probably published at Amsterdam between 1605 and 1610.  As such, it is the earliest printed Atlas of the British Isles.  It is thought to exist only in proof form, which explains the absence of a Title Page and a Map of Yorkshire.  This reproduction is fortunate in having an Introduction very kindly prepared by Dr. Helen Wallis, Superintendent of the Map Room in the British Museum.”
