“Geoff and Kerrie Ford’s interest in collecting 19^th century Australian domestic pottery began as a hobby over 20 years ago, and quickly grew to a full-time obsession.  Their thirst for knowledge of the early potters led to the publication in South Australia, in 1985, of Geoff’s first book titled ‘19^th Century South Australian Pottery, Guide for Historians & Collectors’.
Their success with this book and their love of collecting encouraged them to continue researching, the results of which was their second book ‘Australian Pottery: The First 100 Years, published in Victoria in 1995.
