"This book is produced as an aid to the identification of Eucalyptus species by presenting illustrations of typical buds and fruits, arranged according to the other of Blakely's "A Key to the Eucalypts".  It is a development from the Forestry and Timber Bureau's Leaflet 63, "Illustrations of buds and fruits of Eucalyptus species", in which selected illustrations from Maiden's "A Critical Revision of the Genus Eucalyptus" were used.  These have been added to, or in some cases replaced as a result of recent botanical research, so that this book contains 259 new illustrations."
