“This publication is the Proceedings of a Farmer Short Course held at the Marcus Oldham College, Geelong, in October, 1968.  The course was jointly organised by a group of Farm Management Consultants (A.C.I.L.) and the staff of the Marcus Oldham Farm, Agricultural College.  As past Short Courses many of the planning techniques covered in this publication have been outlined, execution of the plans was discussed in the Farm Labour and Machinery Course, and the technical and financial implications of much farm technology have also been covered in past courses.  This course was primary to draw the management techniques and functions into a coherent sequency which has been termed the Farm Management Cycle.”
