“Colour is so much part of out everyday life that it is not surprising that most people prefer filming in colour to black and white. Indeed, the present age is especially colour conscious. IN the home we have multiple wall colourings, exotic curtains, and even attractively coloured kitchen utensils. Industry is also competing, and many psychiatrists are experimenting with different coloured surroundings that are thought to influence the natural efficiency of the worker.
Colour film gives us a new dimension, and although this term is used loosely, there is, in fact, some truth in this statement, for everyone finds that a colour film has a more thee dimensional effect than monochrome.”
