“When the new look second edition of Gregory’s famous Guide to Australian Fishing appeared in mid-1963, anglers throughout Australia rushed it.  The guide sold out in a few months, for our fishermen recognised that here was a remarkably detailed book covering every aspect of the Australian fishing scene.  This third edition ahs been produced to meet the extraordinary flood of orders form anglers disappointed about failing to secure the second edition.
We have added 32 pages to the 1963 edition, included new features on When to Fish, Knots, Casting, increased the map section to 74, and polished and revised all the existing 288 pages in the 1963 version, incorporating the latest available information on tackle, fishing spots, new bridges, new roads in and out of important fishing areas, and new camping grounds for anglers.”
