“In 1974, Jack and Lindsay Cupper set out to photograph Australia’s diurnal raptors. In seven years of intense travel, work and study the Cuppers found and photographed all twenty four species, and their book “Hawks in Focus” is a record of their travels and experiences, as well as their observations of the birds themselves.
By using towers (or pylons) which they designed and built themselves, and which can extend up to thirty metres (100ft), the Cuppers were able to photograph all the Australian species in the wild, during their breeding activities.”
