“This magazine has been compiled and published to mark National Aboriginal Day, 1977.  Its aim is to inform the reader of some of the kinds of self-help and community activities undertaken by Aboriginal people in Western Australia.
It is appropriate also that the reader is informed that the magazine is entirely the work of Aboriginal people.  The artists, Neil Carter and Benedict Jackson, worked closely with Eric Hayward who compiled and wrote the material.”
