“Time will be well spent if only in observing ad learning something about the magnitudes, colours, and grouping of the multitude of stars that appear on clear dark nights, but it will be more profitably, and none the less pleasantly, spent, f the observer will endeavour to see with an understanding eye, and thus appreciate something of the real nature of what he sees.
