Beef Research Report No. 5

Bureau of Agricultural Economics, 1969, staple-bound paperback

Very Good Condition, a little edge and shelf wear, a little rubbing and bumping to edges and corners, some marking and discoloration to covers, slight lean, no inscriptions (see photographs)

“Fattening cattle by dry lot feeding has been practised with variable success and mostly on a small scale in Australia for some years.  There is, however, a continuing interest in the expansion of this method of beef production.  For this reason, the Bureau of Agricultural Economics has included in its general research programme on the economics of fattening store cattle by dry lot feeding.  The results of this study, which has been financed by the Australian Meat Research Committee, are presented in this report.”
